17" Method Standard 301 machined wheels, fitment & lug nuts

Hello Forum,
Before I begin with my wheel inquiry, Happy Independence Day to everyone especially our veterans & those currently serving!

The tires I will use are 265/70R17 "C" Rated BFG KO2's. I will also buy a set of aluminum hub-centric rings (108mm OD x 106.1mm ID) to fill in the 2mm gap & to ensure they ride smooth.

As for the Method Standard 301 Machined wheels there are 2 options in the 17" size

1) MR30179060312N

• Wheel Size: 17x9

• Bolt Pattern: 6 on 5.5

• Offset: -12

• Back Space: 4.5

• Hub Bore: 108

• Wheel Weight: 28.2

• Max Load: 2500

• Finish: Machined with Clear Coat

I'm leaning more towards the 8.5" wide version since I will be using 265mm wide tires but I don't know if they will stick out passed the fender or sit flush. I am looking for them to stick out passed the fenders a bit. For those of you that are using these wheels (or any other wheel with these specs) could you please post some pics that are down the side of the truck so that I can see how far they stick out passed the fenders?

Did your wheels/tires balance ok?

Will I need extended thread lug nuts?

Will I need longer wheel studs?
