Just set my Tacoma up for some bike trips. Figured that I'd share my setup here.

Below is a list of goodies on the truck:
    • Leer 180 toppers with windoors
    • Bedslide S
    • Kuat Pivot Swing Away Hitch Extension
    • 1Up USA 2 bike Heavy Duty Rack

Hey, curious as to how well the 1up wedge style hitch mount does with the kuat pivot? It looks like the pivot has slots drilled out for the typical pin style hitch. Notice any wiggle or does the setup seem pretty stable? I'm looking to use that same combo as i already have a 1up rack and the kuat pivot seems like the most reasonably priced swing away adapter at the moment. Thanks!

OP, you have knowledge of this working with a swingout rear bumper with a tire carrier? Or if I could possibly fabricate an extension to clear my rear tire?

I just don't get these type of comments. Guy is out living his life mountain biking, decided to share his setup for hauling (which may help somebody looking for ideas) and you decide to shit all over him with your douchey comment. WTF

Speaking of killing kittens, if you haven't seen it, have to check out the Documentary 'Don't F**k with cats' on Netflix.
