Sorry if this has been asked. Where are you guys buying these wheels (rims) online? From the dealership? EBay?

    Anyone got a trusted site?

    That's stock suspension correct nightscape?

Every Monday I haul about 25 cases of water bottles and the bed and it has a good squat. Going with these rims and the standard 265/70/17 tires with stock height shouldn't cause an issue when hauling right?

    Yes that's on stock suspension.
    You will be fine.
I've hauled 1,500 lbs of concrete before.
Numerous runs with 10+ sheets of drywall, 2x4's, pallets of tile. Tires/stock suspension handled it without a problem.

I ran with the stock 265/70/16 from my TRD OR as a spare for almost a year. Luckily never got flat tire when I went off roading. Finally, I decided to not test my luck any longer. I ordered 17" TRD Pro wheel from eBay last week, and I bought a 265/70/17 BFG KO2 today. I wasn't sure if the full size (17" TRD pro/BFG K02) would fit in the 16" Full size spare tire spot, but It fits 20170802_103844.jpg 20170802_103855.jpg 20170802_103905.jpg 20170802_103925.jpg :) Here are some pictures. There is still about 2" between spare tire and the exhaust pipe.

I am new to matte finishes and have read that special cleaning is needed. For those with the matte black alloy TRD wheels, are any special cleaning/soaps needed besides the classic Meguiars mentioned previously? Can you take them through a car wash without worry? Thanks in advance

I've actually moved on to a detail product called Dr Beasley's matte wheel cleaner and matte wheel seal. The results are great.

    Just a few LEDs...
The wheels can be cleaned with just about any soap that you would clean a painted surface with. Just be careful if you use the wheel and tire cleaner at car washes, especially with the center caps. The wheels have a clear top coat so they are probably safe, but the center caps are not and the harsh chemicals in the wheel cleaners and cause the red paint in the "TRD" to fade and bleed.

I actually waxed my wheels with a synthetic wax to help keep the dirt from sticking and make them easier to clean.

Has anyone tried the replica TRD wheels that are 17x8in? Was thinking about getting these with 265/70/17.

These look really good. The KO2's are really looking aggressive.
