I'm doing these wheels with 285/70 17s, 8112 Bilstein set up, TC UCAs, just waiting for parts.

Your truck looks so nice. I can't wait.

Haha mesojdm on here custom made them. I got lucky enough to click on the PayPal "pay now" button when he released this and another set a few months ago. I believe he'll be making more sets in the future, so keep a look out!

Here to provide a comparison for you all. Ran BFG KO2 265/70/17 for 50,000 (ish) miles on the TRD SEMA wheels and had a great experience. Not a single flat, relatively even wear. Started to see some dry rotting but it was time to replace them anyways.

Really considered getting BFG again but wanted to try something different this go around..

Bumped up to a 2" OME Kit, SPC Forged UCA's, Dakars and Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 285/70/17.

So far, I have been impressed with the Nitto's. Quiet for such an aggressive tire and perform well in all conditions. Better than the BFG's in rain, IMO.

The most notable difference is gas mileage, but that was expected.

    Hey all,
I absolutely love this look/setup and will soon be pulling the trigger on this (TRD wheels and KO2 tires). I would very much appreciate some reassurance and guidance before I make purchases. I see the majority of people that do this is on the Sport or Off Road edition trims, this is the reason I am asking.

I have a 2017 SR5 4x4 taco currently running stock wheels and tires with no other mods etc.
I want to make sure these wheels will fit with these tires on my truck:
Tires LT265/70/R17 112S C1 RWL (looking at Discount Tire site) with the TRD 17 pro wheels part number PTR20-35110-BK (I want a nice size tire without worrying to much about rub etc. if that exists with these tire specs).

Also, will I need to purchase new lug nuts? If so what should I look for? I will also be asking the the shop to transfer TPMS sensors to the new setup as well. And is it recommended to get an alighnment after this setup is intsalled?

    link to wheels: https://parts.olathetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-trd-17-in-matte-black-alloy-wheel-ptr2035110bk

    Thanks so much in advance!

I would get an alignment, should not rub any if you don't have mud guards. I see too many problems with bfgs not balancing good. I do have a lift front and rear, 265/70/17 SL toyT open country at2. IMG_20190101_121203445_HDR.jpg

Where are majority of people buying the TRD wheels?

I've seen sellers on Ebay but not always sure if they're OEM.
