Hey guys, I currently have these rims with a set of 265/70/17 General Grabbers, was looking at going up to a 285/70/17 KO2, but the rim width range states it should be 7.5"-9". Would this still be possible even though my rims are 17x7"?

yes they'll fit fine. It's not the optimal size but you won't have any problems with it.

What's the offset on these? My current wheels with 385 70r17 tires sticks out passed the fender by about an inch, will these wheels need a spacer to achieve that?

The offset is 4mm, not sure what your current offset is to compare with but I have them mounted with 265 tires and they're flush with the outer edge of my OR factory fender flares.20160226_132959.jpg 20160226_132951.jpg

The difference in width between a 265 and 285 is approximately 0.8 inches overall so if I'm flush with my fender flare on a 265, I'd stick out just under 1/2 an inch past with a 285 on the TRD wheel.

Sweet, so mine should be fine. Maybe run a 1/4 inch spacer. Stoked to get these wheels. They are sexy!

Just had my gray TRD wheels mounted on my black 2015 DCSB with new Firestone Destination ATs. Pretty happy with the look although I've got a couple surface scratches to buff out.

I'm considering moving up from the stock 16" TRD wheels to the 17", but debating on tire size. Do you get any rubbing on the factory mudflats with the 275/70r17s? And with the heavier weight of them, what kind of gas mileage hit did you take?

Which brand of tires are you looking to buy? Not all 275/70 are the same weight and diameter, mud tires might be a bit larger, load E are heavier than load C.

Looking at BFG A/T KO2 - 32.2". Load E seem to be the only option.

You might rub at compression with the wheels at full lock.

Other than that there are better tire selections and sizes out there that are lighter and bigger then that size in E.

Look at 255/75/17 BFG in C load for the same diameter at better performance for MPGS and handling.
