Anybody change from the TX edition to the 17 trd pro/SEMA? Will I be able to use the same lug nuts and TPMS from the tx edition wheels to20180123_234902.jpg the SEMA Wheels?

Funny you mention that, I just saw one for the first time yesterday walking through a parking lot at work, didn't think to snap a picture but they didn't look too bad. They might have been the FN version because it had black center caps instead of the TRD type.

So it looks like I purchased the knockoffs on eBay. The title of it even had TACOMA WORLD in the title and thought it was a deal for the site. I got the 17x8 black versions. I'm debating keeping them. Wondering if anyone has come across these and if they have had any issues?

Anybody got a pic of these on a Radiant Red taco. I'm hoping to ditch the tires and wheels on mine currently and slap a set of these on. BUT I'm torn between the gunmetal and black. I prefer the gunmetal but I think the black would probably look better. Any help is much appreciated.

I’ve seen these. Even say OEM. Wondering how they can get away without calling them oem “style”

Do these wheels have a clear coat on them or do they have a textured finish? Just curious if they are somewhat porous and would retain dirt. For example, is the finish similar to the finish on the OEM predator step bars? They can be cleaned, but do not retain the darker black finish that they had when new. I was wondering if the wheels would be like that as well. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Curious if putting the Sema Pro's on my 2018 Off Road will mess with the tire pressure monitoring system
(that shows the real time tire pressure). Is this an issue at all when changing wheels/wheel size? Thanks.

Have the tech swap over the tpms from your original wheels into your new ones when mounting your new tires. Shouldn't be any issues. That's what I'm having done one day this week when my falkens come in.

Only if you're installing steel wheels, they use a different TPMS sensor.

The TRD Pro 4Runner wheels are alloys just like your Tacoma Pro wheels.

Thanks for the info on the sensors, sounds good. Is there a consensus about what size tires to go with
on these Sema Pros so that there is no "rubbing" on the front mud guards on a 2018 OR as I've heard some
here talking about earlier in this thread? Thanks again.

I run 265/70/17, now with a 2 inch lift, no mud guards but I wasn't rubbing at stock height either.

Thanks for that, doesn't look like you have the mud guards on tho? It sounds like any rubbing that folks were mentioning was against
the front mud guards when turning wheels?

It's hit or miss on the mudguards at stock height, also depends on the tires you decide to run. Some real world measurements vary on 265/70/17 size tires especially if your running a more aggresssive tread.

If it rubs you can either remove the guard and replace with thinner flaps or keep then off the truck completely.

Or go with a smaller tire.

What size tire does the TRD Sport run? It has 17 in wheels and can be had with mudguards.

Question for those that have these wheels. How hard are they to clean or keep clean? I ask because I heard they are not clear coat sealed. I am looking to get graphite.

Here's a close up of my 2 year old wheel with 28k miles on the tires, they hold up pretty well.

I won't to get 265 70 17 Nittos with a 1 3/4 " lift up front will I get rudding? If so will removing the mud flaps take care of it? I have a 2011 DCSB Prerunner. Thanks inaadvance!
