Very similar to what I'm looking to do. What tires brand/size are those? I'm guessing BFG AT. One last question...what is the width of these rims?

    Thanks!

I bought the rims right away and ordered the Boss lift from toyotec with 2 AAL for the rear.
The lift has not come in yet but the tires came in today.
    Nitto G2 A/T 285 70/17.
Do I need spacers? And if so, does spidertrax make black ones?
Here is a pic before with just rims

The boss lift is 3" right? You may rub on your control arms, but it is hard to say. Most here would tell you that you need to do the cab mount chop mod. I would agree with them and that's one of the many reasons I went with 32s.

Edit: I just realized This is a third gen. Disregard everything I said.

How are your mudflaps surviving? I would like to do the same tire/wheel setup.

I'll let you know after this weekend. First time I'll be wheeling since I put the new shoes on.

So, I don't need spacers? I forgot to mention I ordered light racing UCAs as well.

I just bought a set at TRDshop.com and didn't know what size tires to get for my 17 Tacoma SR. What size tires do you recommend?

2017 TRD Sport. Will these wheels accommodate 285/70/17 ridge grapplers assuming I have a 3" lift?

You might need to check the spec on the tires and see what the minimum rim width is for them. The Pro SEMA wheels are only 7 inches wide. I believe many 285's require a minimum of 8 inches.

As an alternative, you can get the FN FX pro wheels which look very similar are 8 inches wide, and are available in more colors.

Va Beach eh? I'm in the great bridge area. Thanks for the response. Any suggestions for good shops around 757 for upgrades to the truck? Only one I've really heard about is Pungo Off-Road.

I haven't done any suspension mods so I wouldn't know first hand, but I have heard good things about Pungo Off-Road.

Have you seen the local Hampton roads thread? It's been a little slow lately, but lots of good people in there.

    Nice!

Some people don't like black wheels because they have been so overdone by so many manufacturers, but those look damn good on your truck!

Close! This wheel is 17x7" with -4mm offset. Minimum recommended for 285 is 7.5". This is why KN FX Pro wheels are wider. I want some, just can't stomach running 285's with this wheel. I know many others do, though.
