Yup. Par for the course here in New England where winter hangs around.

Just did some rust-oleum on some parts of my 2017, so I'd say you're still doing pretty good.

I'll get around to treating the more widespread parts before the roads are heavily salted with that awful mixture.

I rubbed a bit at half turn and moderate suspension compression, heat gunned the stock flaps and now I have very occasional and very minimal rub on one side under the same condition. I’ll probably heat gun one more time (or get some other flaps) to get rid of it completely.

Cool, I ran them on my 19 OR w/out flaps no issue, but kind of want to keep the flaps, looks good. Think I'll pull the trigger on these for my cement too. Thanks!

Freshened up the wheels with some powder coat. However, paint matching the plastic wheel caps is becoming a challenge. Anyone know if there is a metal version of the centercap or a place that can make an aerosol can of custom automotive paint?

265 70 R17. I have run this size for years on the factory Sport wheels and WeatherTech mudguards. With the SEMA wheels, I have rubbing on the guards on the drivers side. Going to have to figure that out. I like having the guards to protect the truck...looking at Rek Gen flaps but not sure how much that will help...

    What situation causes the rubbing?

I am experiencing issues with rubbing the flaps as well. Can you give a little summary of your heat gun process?

Got my wheels installed a few days ago. Truck looks so much different now, to me anyway. Really, really happy with them.

RekGen flaps, 265/70R17 Cooper AT3 4S, and SEMA wheels on an otherwise stock SR5. This is as close as the tire gets on level ground, just short of full steering lock. Turning to full lock actually moves the tire very slightly further away from the flap. Don't have many miles with this arrangement yet, but it hasn't rubbed any on my rather steep and rough gravel driveway.

TRD SEMA 17" Wheels; 265/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler; BAKFLIP MX4
Finally pulled the trigger on the new wheels and tires and had mine installed this morning. This is my second set of Ridge Grapplers (5th set of Nittos) and have nothing but positive things to say about them. These are 265/70R17 SL. Loving this set up and feel that it made a huge difference in the appearance of the truck. The tires now sit almost perfectly flush and have experienced zero rubbing in almost 100 miles of driving since this morning.IMG_2989.jpg IMG_2988.jpg
