@lotuscupcar ... any love for the BBP color? Do like the Inferno though but couldn't get JBL in that color in my area, still would have went with the BBP but the Inferno is nice..

Its a good color. Blue isn't my #1 choice, but having owned Laguna Seca Blue Z3M coupe, Celestial Blue Mazdaspeed3, Rally Blue WRX STi, I do enjoy a blue here and there. Bright in your face smurf blue is my favorite :)

New Porsche Miami blue is fantastic.

The leaf springs on tacomas are trash. That's the first thing I will upgrade. It will significantly help travel on rough washboard roads at higher speeds.

I did this exact set up and I'm getting highway speed vibration/shaking. They were balanced properly by discount tire and still doing it. Are you getting this at all? I feel it in my seat mostly, only minor in the steering wheel. What pressure are you running. It did not do this with the stock wheels/tires. Very irritating to drop almost $2k on this setup and it rides like crap. Thanks for any help.

I was told to stay away from the leveling kits as they cause problems and to spend the extra cash on the 5100's all the way around. I think that's probably a better setup anyway. As for tires I would use a tire calculator and stay within 5% of the stock configuration unless you want problems with speedo, gas mileage, acceleration, and suspension. That limits you to either 275/65/17 or 265/70/17. I decided against the wider 275 as I didn't think the additional rock and debris kick up on my paint to be worth it. Go with the 5100's and 265/70/17. That setup is used by so many and it looks great. This will be my plan when my stock tires wear out. After spending the extra cash on the pro rims I could not justify new tires to replace the brand new ones right away.

I think it looks great stock for now. It's already "level" so the leveling kit would be a cheap lift option only.

I have the FN TRD wheels and 265/70/17 Nitto G2's, no lift. I do get, but rarely, a short rub on front wheel if I am turning 90 degrees and either going up a steep incline or down.
Love the wheels and especially tires. I got the 'C' rating....inflate to 45 psi. Rides great!

Thank you sir! I just decided it wasn't really smart to throw money at new parts when it's not really needed yet but it's a plan for later. I chose to take that cash and put it into other extras for the truck instead. Oval steps, bed cover, tint, paint protection film, door sill protectors, bed mat, etc.

A: The offset on stock sport wheel is +30, offset on TRD Pro rim is +4

B: Unless you plan on putting crazy large tires on then no. You can get away with 265 - 285 size tires. After that you would want a wider wheel.

Smart move. there isn't much of a market right now for the factory sport takeoffs. my dealer had 4 sets on the floor of the parts department they were trying to sell, and There are a bunch littered all over craigslist.
Not worth the effort trying to sell them.

That's a good price. I got the dealer to come down some but still paid 800 for mine. That free shipping is awesome!
