Anyone running a setup like this? My taco has 17" wheels with 265/75/17 KO2s and I'm looking into doing a 3" or 4" lift and curious how it will look and what the differences are. I'm new to lifting trucks so anything will help.

    Thanks!

    Post them pics ;)

No problem man, in Hawaii you should go for 6" and 35s, seems to be popular. I do like your rim though

    FWIW your tires are 265/70r17, not 265/75r17. I don't think that's a real size.

3" should set you up nice. You will find that to be the common lift you will end up on alot of them. But what you will see and hear is do it right. If on a budget at least go something like billy's or ome with a leaf pack (at least a AAL) over spacers or blocks. Truck will look nice with the extra lift on it. I am probably sitting around 2.75" - 3" on mine. Never measured but estimated. mine as well go 285 if you going 275. that will help lift it a tad as well.

Anyway GL will be nice in the end.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but it gives you an idea. These are 265/70r17 on a 2.5" lift

That's exactly what I was thinking lol which is why I'm trying to stay away from 6". You right about the 6" lifts in Hawaii though

Why lift it if your only running 265s? You can clear that on stock suspension easily.

You can clear 35's on stock suspension. Not easily, but you can clear them

Ah, I'm strongly considering putting some bigger tires on in the future so that may help. but not until these 265s are done and I just put them on lol

I am talking without having to do major trimming such as CMC.............

I rub with my setup now, very very slightly though. Nothing some trimming won't fix, but I plan to take it off roading. Nothing hardcore, just casual.

I, too, went with bigger tars long after the lift. It just looked funky to me and I hated it haha.

Put my stock wheels and tires up for sale to offset the cost of new tars and finally went to 285's. Started snappin' a lot of necks on the street once I went to 285's too..
