I just hate when the tires look too small for the truck and lift haha which is why I just want to lift it enough to go off road with no rub and possibly add slightly bigger tires.

2" with your current setup should be fine. Slight trimming unless you're really flexing.

CMC is inevitable if you do even light off roading and go with a bigger tire.

Thanks for the replies everyone, apologies for being "that guy" and starting a thread instead of searching, I know we all hate them, I'm just wired on coffee and got excited when thinking about lifting this bad boy :D

Do a 2” lift 3 will give too much and cause you problems. Should be fine with 265’s. Looking at ur truck the tires fit it good.

How much of a difference would a 3" lift make, visually. Yours looks great.

I ran 265s on 5" lift for a long time. Didn't really matter to me. I took a lot of shit for it. But my truck ran and drove perfectly while retaining some 'decent' MPGs.

That being said, 285s are the perfect size tires for these trucks.

well...thats 2". so add another inch to the front.

Realistically though I don't care for higher as I don't want to carry much preload. I got this lift for more travel.
I also have more rake because I load up with a lot of weight in the back of camping gear etc when wheeling.

and fuck did I ever get travel lol.

    265/70/17 on a 2 in lift. Any higher and you'd want to go a bigger tire.4 days after lift.jpg 3-4 side lift.jpg
