"New to me" 2006 Tacoma owner here, access cab, 4x4, 4L engine, manual six speed, love this truck, but original rims are corroded and leaking air slightly at the bead. Can I use "17" x 7.5 rims" off a later model Tacoma? I know the lug pattern works, but I don't know a whole lot about "offset" and changes to the wheels in later models. Thanks for anything and everything!

Welcome to the forum! 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen wheels are interchangeable, so you can swap any 6 lug Tacoma wheel from your year to the current year without issue.

Edit: same goes for 4Runner or modern FJ wheels.

Thank you crashnburn80, I'm about to purchase nearly flawless stock 6 lug 2012 rims for my 6 lug 2006 and this provides confidence. I'll check back and add a photo after the purchase and the swap! Thanks to you, Best to all.
