Will depend a LOT on the backspacing of the wheel

Backspace is directly related to offset.. see how you have minus 38 and your backspace is 3.5?
    Well minus 12 is 4.5
38-12 is 26 there's your inch of back space.

Yep, that's what I'm getting as well. Well, if you have fender flares ... if not it'll be even more.

    Is your truck lifted?

backspacing is offset. They are the same thing people just have more than one name.

before I got my truck I was into imports and tuner cars. you know the one's where they stuff big fat tires and getting the right offset down to 1-2 mm.
    rolling fenders, that kinda stuff.

to find out where your wheel will be take half the width of the wheel and add 12mm to it. then measure that off the hub.
Thats only going to tell you where the wheel is. Tire's matter also.

If I remember right you were the guy who is wanting to put a 245 width tire on a 7 inch wheel. Also consider thats a 9.5 inch wide tire when you are calculating offset.

all in all a -12 offset is not that much.
guys in the car community were throwing 10-15mm spacers behind wheels like it was candy. some even going up to 20-25mm.

12mm is hardly anything, especially on a truck.

Right on - the system worked!

I would just go 285/70/17 and do the CMC

Perfect size tire for a lifted Taco IMO

I am sure it will probably fit fine. the only thing I didnt like about aggressive offset wheels and tires is it will absolutely throw crap all over the sides of your truck.
    especially if you off road.
