New here I was ghost follower of the page for a long time y’all helped out a lot when buying my Tacoma . Anyways I have Method M703 17x9 -12 offset they don’t rub with 265/65r17 stock tires that come on the sport. plan on installing the trd pro Fox suspension after it gets back from rebuild or just go big and put the Bilstein 6112 front and 5100 rear with add leaf from icon. I’m trying to figure what tire I can fit under the pro suspension because I already have it i was thinking 265/70r17 maybe with minimal plastic trimming. If anyone knows please help a brother out I don’t want to waste money military pays like shit haha.

A few things stock sport came with 265/65r17, not 255/55r17. I don't think there is a 255/55r17. You can go with a 265/70r17 you may rub with -12 offset Alignment is key. There is many thread on wheel tire combos.

-12 will give you some rubbing issues at a 265/70. Also a 265 on a 9" wheel is getting a tad stretched is it do able yes. I just don't advise airing down much a 7.5-8 is a better suited width. A 0 offset with a 265/70 and you'll have very little to no issues even at stock height.

@na8rboy yeah you’re right 265/65r17 is stock on the sport. So your recommendation is get rid of the wheels and get some with a 0 offset?

also what if I put new wheel liners in by find-x it says it will give you extra inch on clearance???
