Quick yes or no question guys: will 17x9 inch rims fit on stock tires? Otherwise, will wider rims fit stock tires?

Your 265/65's will fit on 17 x 9's okay. The sidewalls may stick out a bit more but okay.

It may look stretched. its best to check with the tire company to see what they recommend.

what size are "Stock Tires"?? THey may fit but probably stretching the width of the tire. CHeck out the specs of your stock tires on Tirerack.com, the specs will tell you the recommended Rim size of that size tire. Just as an example, i'm buying 17x8 wheels so i can run stock or oversize.

they should fit, but may look a little funny. I ran 265/70/17's and 255/75/17's on a 9" wheel and they fit fine for me.
