18.3 avg mpg

Man, I dont care how hot it is! I dont run my A/C in the summer unless someone else in my truck!! I dont want my truck to work hard and save me some fuel

 

I hear ya but it's a little different here than it is in Jersey. Much more humid and hotter. Also I do it after I finish a lawn and I'm all hot and sweaty from working. Most of the time my dad is out with me to, so I'm cooling it down for the both of us.

I guess a good way of looking at my lousy mpg is I'm making money off the fuel spent. I think an F650 may be alittle overkill for 2000 pounds but it sure would look cool pulling up to a customer's house, not that I'm a Ford fan.

 

I know a lawn guy in the tampa area that sold his F350 and bought a Ford F650 for his lawn business... to tow a trailer I could pull with a Tacoma/F150. Guess business is doing really well....

 

That's crazy. Hey whatever works. I guess he sees it as a write off.
