16 and 17 look best imo, 18 might look ok on a 2nd gen

I recently found a set of those BBS RW rims from someone's Tundra like genzer36's old picture above shows. They're not yet on my DC; I'm going to run my 16" tires that make me look like I just drove off the Baja 1000 I have bald first. Because that's a hot look at the local mall. #notsomuch

Shiny aluminum rims remain a good look for those of us who haven't derp'd everything and prefer to keep our old man chrome, thanks very much, which of course is the 1st Gen's forté.

Yep, maybe ok for a bagged 'yota high centering on speed bumps but def. not for any 4x or peerunner, can't air down for 1....

The cost is an outrage....& fugly IMO..

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
BFG is pretty proud of their tires. The silly AT/KO's cost more than the brand new redesigned AT/KO2's which is just mind boggling to me. The original KO is nearly a 30 year old design and they STILL charge premium price for those tires. KO's are mediocre tires at best. I've got them on my Tacoma and have never been able to keep them balanced right since day one. They are a quality tire, but not worth the money IMO, could get a lot better tire for less which is what I plan to do before winter!

18s with highway tires make sense. Price differential isn't too bad there. For AT tires I'd be right there with you guys and 16s, 17s, and not just because of cost.

I run the bfg mud terrains on my taco and the grip great I have 40k miles on them already and about another 40k of treat still left on them.... But I run my tires on lower pressure... Winter time I run my rear tires 17-19lbs and summer time 24-26lbs front tires winter 24-26lbs summer time 27-29lbs

But yea I couldn't see spending over 400 for my 35" on 18" rims on my full size truck any longer so I dropped down to 17" rims and makes my 34-35" tires 200$ a piece cheaper
