Forum: My 07 Taco Pre-runner's stock 245/75/16 are in need of replacement. Since all my driving is on the street I wanted to go to a wider and lower profile tire. I see a 265/65/18 is supposed to fit. Then I see how the 2012 Taco has those wheels and tires.

My question is: Are the 2012 wheels a direct bolt on and would something else be better?

Down the road a a moderate lowering is being considered for better handling and better aeros.

Has suggestions from anyone who has been down this road?

    TIA

    Rick

The 2012s have 265/60/18s not 265/65s. And yes they are direct bolt on.
