18 months later, just realized my radio isn’t level in the dash?

Not sure why it took so long, but today I just happened to notice my screen sits like it’s sagging on the driver side.
It’s always been like this I imagine and just never noticed. I’m not seeing things right? I assume this is something I just have to deal with, not a warranty item?

    anyone ever see this before?

Mine looks like that. Bothered me for a couple of days, but I got over it. I'm not sure if "getting over it" was a good thing. I either have low expectations from manufacturers or I'm much more easy going than I used to be.

On mine, it looks like the gray trim around the radio has poor fit and finish.

It may be the gray trim on the bottom, because looking at the top it's in line with the upper part of the dash. Not sure why I just now am noticing it, apparently wasn't that big of a deal. Should I join that other guys topic about how big of a POS my truck is? Nah I'm good.

The radio is angled slightly towards the driver.
If you run your finger on the top of the radio bezel and dash, (where those fancy aftermarket mounts go) you will feel the gap or valley. Run you finger along and you will notice it is thinner towards the driver side.

Oh, and by the way... your screen is dirty.

Probably it’s not your radio that’s not level, I think it’s the plastic trim at the bottom.

In your picture the left-side gap looks larger on both the top and bottom...though the bottom gap looks slightly larger.

I can almost feel the OCD kicking in here. Thanks for bringing this up. LOL.

I see what you're saying about the tilt. I don't think this can fully account (if at all) for the uneven gap between the radio and trim that the OP mentioned above.

You're welcome to pull off the surround (1.5 sec without tools) and inspect the clips on the back.

It's the trim. If you look at the left & right, it's even. Could be the sun &/or heat warping it.

Or a design "flaw". Maybe invest in a sunshade, if you haven't already.

Thank you @TwinTaco31719 @Junkhead, looks like I'm not crazy and according to a few guys here I just need to deal with it because it's a truck. Sorry for asking a question!
