No most trucks do not come with 20's. Maybe Caddies but not Toyota, Nissan, Ford, or Chevy. Most people buy trucks to use them

there are some pretty funny replies in here.
If I were in your shoes..
I would get a set of 4" lift spindles, 5100's on all 4 corners over a DB lift any day. set the front's to the minimal lift. all pro 3" rear leaf pack. 315/75/16's...but since you gave two options... i would rather have 18's than 20's
no offence to the DB lift guys on here, bc some of them wheel their DB lifts quite often, but being a prerunner....take advantage of the lift spindles

Your local Goodyear dealer should be able to get these. I have a friend that works at the local goodyear warehouse so I get mine at his cost.:D

In your opinion. He has a nice truck no doubt but I would disagree best truck on here. He may use it like a truck but fact is he still lost performance going to a 20" rim. Check out MJP2, 06HAOLE, AMEAS, NELSON18MATT. Those trucks are being used like trucks. Im just saying what you like is all based on looks. What I like is all based on performance. Ill never make my truck work worse so it can look better

If the people that run 20's would just admit its all for looks we wouldnt hate so much

Edit: Nobody has the "best" truck. Its all opinion

I think you should go with 18's. I think they look the best on the Tacoma. If you don't ever plan on letting the air out of your tires then it doesn't matter what size rim you get. You'll still have the same surface area of the tire contacting the ground. Here's my truck with 18's and KM2 35x12.5. I only have a 3" lift though.

thanks for the link! A LOT of info in there. You have talked me into doing spindles for sure. Now what all will i need to buy in order to get a level ride and what will be the best in the rear if I plan on hauling anything? Where is the best place to get all of this online? All these student loans I'm paying on are kicking my ass!

I've had these for two years and they still look new. Two winters on stock wheels, then switched to my summer wheels. Even ran rally cross with them and getting another set to run on my summer wheels permantly without having to flipflop every season

go to your local chevy or dodge dealer, most of the trucks DO come with 20's as a factory option...
and everyone has different uses for their trucks...just bc it has 20's doesnt mean it cant haul or tow anything

As an option yes. Do majority of people choose that option? No. We already settled earlier that 20's are more for looks and less for performance. You 20" lovers always miss the point. Yes you can still tow. Yes you can still haul. Yes you can go off road. But fact is you lost performance somewhere and gained performance nowhere.
