so im in the market for some new tires and rims and iv read that a 265 70 17 is the largest tire size ican put on my stock truck. so if the 265 70 17 is roughly a 31.5" tire and a 265 65 18 is about the same could i run the 265 65 18 without any prob or mods?

Yes, you can run 265/65/18 with no problems. You can see pictures of that size in my build. I have a lift now, but they fit fine before I got it.

5100's set at 1.75 will be perfectly level with stock suspension

are the 5100's very pricey? i was thinking like a 2" front spacer and add a leaf in the rear..

They are under $200. It's a good rule of thumb to avoid spacers. if you do a search you will have hours of reading on it.

Search for "spacer bad" or something like that.

Here, this link will tell you all you need to know about wheels.

    https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

When looking for wheels for our trucks, look for a 6x139.7 or 6x5.5 bolt pattern, and a backspacing between 5.5" and 4.5" since you want to run 265s.
