    Hello TW members!

I have been having an issue with auto high beam. It doesn't turn on if there is no car in front of me or no oncoming traffic from the opposite direction.
It used to work perfectly, but it stopped working since I changed a TRD pro grille. I am not sure it is related to the sensor behind the grille.
No message nor warning light at all.

    Does anybody have this experience?
    I would appreciate your suggestions.

    Thanks,
    Win

The headlight stalk is in the correct position?

Yes, it is in the correct position and the auto high beam light on the instrument panel is on.

@Mitch76 That's why I requested the suggestion that anyone has the same issue like me after replacing the new grille or it is only mine.

Don't think the auto high beams has anything to do with the grill sensor. It has to do with the in-vehicle camera sensor (pg 215 manual ) and the headlight control sensor ( pg 213 manual ). Camera sensor sees oncoming headlights and taillights in front of you and the control sensor sees the ambient light at the time. Same truck as yours except 4x4 and I tested my auto high beams at dusk and they wouldn't work until it was dark enough outside. Control sensor ( on the passenger side speaker grill on dash ) saw it was still too bright out I guess. Manual says if it is blocked auto high beams may not work and I would also think that if your windshield in front of the camera sensor is dirty enough it may affect it also. Just my guess...

@CementHead18 thanks a lot bro. Very helpful.
I will test it when it is completely dark. You are right about the light at dusk. I usually drive at that time.

    Appreciate your help.
