I found this gun in one of the closets at my grandmas house. Also there are a few pictures of family with this gun that are dated in the 1920's. I just thought it was very cool! Im pretty sure of what I have here I'm just trying to determine a value :notsure:

The only negatives I can see is that the front sight is kinda messed up and it looks like someone may have tried to re blue the reciever at some point.

Im pretty sure this is the gun I have, minus the flip up rear sight, mine just has the buck horn sight

5100's all around, front at 0 with Ebiach springs up front; Wheelers 3 leaf AAL rear, Spidertrax
that might be paint on the receiver since they were "case color hardened" as far as I know. These rifles are worth some good money. Anything old and Winchester is very valuable. Go on gunbroker.com and look for similar rifles. I did a quick search and it looks like it may could be 500 to 1k. Fix it up and enjoy it; dont sell.

I definetly wont be selling it. It's been in the family WAY too long to even think about selling. I knew we had an old octagon barrel, pump .22 that was real old and thats what I was looking for when I found this gun

Im gonna try and get the front sight post fixed and go out and shoot this thing.

No telling. My dad never even knew his mom had that gun. so I would say it probably hasnt been fired in 40+ years :notsure:
