18s for a 07 tacoma?

    if i were to get 18s with 285s i dont need a lift right away do i. would it look ok for the time being? i got the 17s priced it wasint much cheaper

    Spacer lift, bumper stickers, ejector seat, etc.
    You're gonna need a lift for those 285's if you want to be able to turn the wheel...

    yeah im hearing 17s would look better so i might just do that but the guy at the shop was trying to sell me 265s or 275s im not to sure

    3rd gen forum caused me to get a Ford
    no lift the biggest 17 w/o issue is a 265/70/17...well...on stock wheels at least. if u get an aftermarket wheel w/ a 4.5" backspace or so, u may be able to do a 275, but definately not a 285

    as for rim size, its all personal preference....most tend to go smaller rim and more rubber for offroading. get what u want as long as it'll work

    ive got 285/65X18 with a 3" lift. I couldnt imagine having these wheels without a lift..

    yea, just depends on how much sidewall rubber you want.
