Cold air intake, vortex throttle body spacer,

I have 08 Tacoma with a 3" lift
18x9 and 285 tires. I like to go bigger with out lifting too much. trimming the fenders and the body support its ok as long as I keep it low as possible. I want to go to 18x12 rims I know I have to go to a smaller tire but don't want to go smaller than the factory hight. how much more lift I need ,and tire size
