I always wondered why some of the 4Runners looked better. How does the 4Runner have more power? Isn't it the exact same motor?

 

Nope. The 4runner has a different top end. VVT-I which gives it 270hp.

 

I didn't know that either. I have been eyeing the supercharger. Toyota is proud of them.

 

I love my wheels always get compliments and people asking who makes them. I tell them there custom ha ha cant have anyone else in town rocking same wheels!

 

I had a talk with Dustin about the name. I HAD to buy them after that.

Thanks! Pelfreybilt front and rear bumper with pelfrey armor underneath. Lift is fox mid travel coilovers and fox mid travel rear.

Sweet photo Steve. I have customers that have gone Icon + BFDs + 33" tires on the 5th Gen 4Runners too. We're going to make a decision in the next week or so as to whether or not we want to do an FN Wheels build with a 4Runner or FJ Cruiser. Stay tuned.

Glad to hear that! I would benefit by more guys in your town rockin' the wheels, but I know what you mean.

BFD = official wheel of the Bavarian Fire Department, by FN = Freakin' Nice Wheels. That's the story I gave you, right?

 

What lift/suspension are you running? I got a stock 2013 and don't know anything about kits. Gonna see if someone local can hook it up; just need to know what to tell them I want.

 

So, budget is key.

 

Icon stage 4. Expensive to me. It's all relative.

 

Are these wheels hubcentric?

 

They are a tic larger than the hub, but there are centering rings and center caps (install one or the other) that take up the space. There are also some long wheel lugs. No issues whatsoever with balance or fit.

So they do come with everything you need and no vibrations on the highway or anything like that?

 

They come with everything. No vibes from wheels. I'm running Toyo AT2's and they are a bit "hummy".

 

If you're sitting in front of your computer trying to decide on these wheels or not, just PM Dustin or give him a call tomorrow. These wheels are bad ass!!! Not to mention Dustin is a stand up guy. By far, the best customer service in the business... or actually I've ever encountered! Dustin should teach a seminar on general customer service because it truly goes a long way. nice set up ^ RKA ...how much of a lift are you running? just picked up a set of fn bfd with nitto trail grappler 285 ..wondering how much of a lift i need to go to clear the tires.. Was cab mount chop needed?

 

I'm running Icon stage 4 with 3", toyo at2 285.65.18. No cmc.

Thanks. I have the Icon Stage 1 setup with Dakars. Sad to say I never really measured anything. I think Icon's coilovers are set at 2 1/2" of lift. I cranked it up a little higher. Probably to 2 3/4" to 3". Regardless I had to do the cab mount chop and some plastic trimming.
