So I have recently purchased a new Tacoma and I have been looking everywhere for a subwoofer box and sub to install but I can’t seem to find anything reasonable or other than the Taco Tunes speakers. What are you all running in your trucks and any suggestions on what kind of box or speaker to run?

check out @Mr Marv, search for him on here. He has a ton of information. I've bought 2 sub boxes from him, one each for my 2nd and 3rd gen. Qualitiy work and he can answer all your questions.

Fair warning I’ve heard some horror stories about taco tunes on here. If ur looking for box only? Go for it I have their single 10” and it’s pretty nice. But then again I’ve heard nothing but great things about @Mr Marv while doing my research on sub boxes

You can also fit a Kicker CompRT box with 10" DVC sub and passive radiator behind the rear seat on the passenger side. You have to remove the lip from the storage cubby and the plastic panel on the seat back:

AudioControl D-6.1200. It's 125Wx6, channels 5 and 6 are bridged so the sub sees its exact RMS power rating of 400W.

Another vote for @Mr Marv , they aren't terribly expensive either, he can ship all over. There is a reason you hear his name so much. Don't hesitate to call him either, just be aware he might be a little backed up but he can take care of it all and ship it to your door. Good luck.

3015A825-2D40-4F17-A80D-6A1D2B68F6C1.jpg I have a JL audio set up. The box is custom made from a guy in LA. My woofers are JL audio 10w1-4. Swapped out the stock speakers for JL audio c-2’s. The 6x9 needed a universal mount. The 6.5 I cut the old speaker out and mounted the new speaker In its housing. The amp was a JL audio RD900. But I swapped it for a hiphonics 5 channel 2500 watt amp for clearance under my passenger seat. I was able to slip a LC6 audio control behind the head unit for the RCA’s. Here’s my wiring diagram

Had to do some minor cutting on the plastic but was able to fit a Kenwood 10" in an old Rockford shallow mount box behind the backseat. Got the amp under the drivers seat

Interior LEDs, all weather mats, TRD performance CAI, trifold hard tonneau cover, predator pro step, accessory interior/exterior illumination package. Kicker tweeters, Kicker speakers.
I have the Taco tunes budget setup with 12” Sub. I had already replaced the door speakers with Kicker and Subaru tweeters in the dash. My system is loud enough and it rocks....for a budget system.
