Never heard a complaint with CMC mags.

Did Wilson stop making 10 round mags? I have several.

I use the cmc power plus...
Wouldn't trust them for Self Defense... 10 round magazines are not 100% reliable in 1911s. I've had a few ftf with the cmc mags. But never had a problems with my Wilson, mecgar, Springfield 8 rounders

I've had nothing but issues with CMC mags. 8 or 10 rounds. The Wilson 47D 8 round mag is the gold standard.

That said, I know lotsa people who use CMC without issue.

I've had that baby for quite few years now and still fall in love every time I shoot her. Great blaster

I've shot a few of them (including Brian "gunny" Zins competition Cabot 1911) he's a cool guy too btw... Anyway, they shoot and feel incredible. The attention to detail is astounding. I worked at a company that did custom one off pistol grips for Cabot, so had the opportunity to handle a lot of their products. Which is funny because I live in MA and their guns aren't legal here. Can't go wrong with them though.

My personal "piece" is a Remington R1 enhanced. Nothing extravagant, but it's fun to shoot.

Just be thrifty and watch for a Para, RIA, or ATI, they can be found. Academy was selling Para for $465 the other day

It's nothing super fancy but my current 1911 fleet,

Springfield Range Officer chambered in 9mm,

She also pulls nightstand duty dressed like this,

My favorite one to play with is the .22 but my favorite shooter is my Rock. That gun is incredibly underrated. The R\O is breaking in nicely, though.
