1968 Corvette for sale!

I am posting this for my best friend who lives in Vacaville CA. I will put any interested parties through to her, after I talk to you. I am very protective of my sister from another mister. Here are the details....and I took this straight from her email to me:

327 automatic #’s match (her claim)
t-tops back and back window come out (I am sure this was factory and not by something she did!)
spotty black paint outside on ripped up black interior
No extra charge for the 4 flat tires (there will be a small charge for any air we put in them so you might wan to bring your own compressor)
Needs to be towed, hasn’t run in 17 years
It’s too hot to check the odometer…. (that was her response when I asked for it)
Buyer to handle all complaints from PETA about any endangered animals living under vehicle (that is the People for the Etichal Treatment of Animals. As I doubt there are any members of PETA here I thought I would spell that out)

Seriously, this could be a very awesome project for someone. Robin has had it ever since I have known her and I am sad to see it go, but I think someone here would appreciate it. Feel free to PM me for contact information.

She said she wanted $5000, bit I think that id a little low.

If its a matching number car yeah I'd agree. Hell I paid $5500 for my 67 GTO with a non original trans, but the original motor, in 1993. So yeah that may be a little low

 

I think she just wants the car gone. Probably feels bad watching it go downhill after all these years.

Posted it on Craigslist last night and already have four responses, but I hate Craigslist as I am sure more then on of those responses is going to mention a millionaire in Dubai who will pay $100,000 for the car if I drive it to a port and load it on a ship! As I have had GREAT buying and selling here, thought I would give people here the first shot.
