I once had a 1974 Suzuki TS185 that ran like a tank. I use to think how cool it would have been to have new back in the day. You dont see many 2-stroke street legal bikes nowadays. Anyhow I found out Suzuki STILL makes the TS185 just like they did in the 70's, but of course its (not available in the U.S.)......which saddens me. Anyone know how the hell one would get one of these without paying for a shipping container?

a suzuki dealer might be able to get one, but not easily. the hard part would be getting the paper work to street it. I don't know how it works in NC, but here there are loop holes in the laws that would let you own it as off road only. Your best bet might be to find a scraped frame with papers and then try and pass off the new as a rebuild. might involve some lite fraud....

Lol, maybe if I can get the new motor and and old frame, and old case covers? :D

I'd like to have another just for their classic sound and feel..something to ride on a Sunday. If I get a modern bike though it will probably be a DRZ or a DR650.
