1980 Frankenstein

Well, i made probably a poor impulse buy yesterday, lol. Know its not a Hilux, but didn't see a 1st gen "Pickup" group. Let me know if i missed it.

Figure i should start a thread, so i can remember what i have done to it and hopefully gather some much needed info, lol.

Frankenstein: Has a 4.3, supposedly out a 98 Chevy truck (will have to confirm later) that had 88k on it and a rebuilt TH350 from some unknown source. The t-case is an NP205 and on the correct side, but no driveshaft. Not sure if it will work or not, havent done any research on that yet, but dont recall them being used in past readings. He also gave me the stock t-case that appears to function. Can only figure he didnt want to buy the adapter.

Few rust holes in the floor pan, that dont appear too bad and should be able to patch and one odd one on passengers side, top of cab. Cant find any major rust in frame or fenders. Prior owner said he purchased it with no windshield, so was probably left to the elements and reason for floor pan holes. He said a prior owner did a shotty fiberglass coverup on the holes, but i suspect it was him.
