Got an 82 Corolla here. 46000 original kms. Minor surface rust. I know this is for trucks but wondering what this might be worth? Thanks

Wow didn’t think there would be so many jerks on here. I own a 95 Tacoma and a 2006 tundra as well. I am a toyota lover. Thought there would be some others on here as well.

My first "real" car was a 1978 Corolla. Manual, white with blue interior. Had 40k when I bought it. Drove it for five years / 80k (~110k total) and the only maintenance was a water pump. That was incredibly accessible without even lifting the car and took 30 minutes to replace. Loved that car.

Well, he didn't say he's trying to sell it here, just wondering what it might be worth.

But, we can't answer a question like that without pics. Also, KBB would be a better place to do that kind of research since pricing based off pics and unconfirmed information given by a forum newb would making guessing a value very subjective.

In all seriousness, I don't think there are that many 1982 Corolla's left on the road and there isn't that much of a demand for them.

    Welcome to the forum

Just tried looking it up on KBB for shits and giggles. KBB apparently only goes back to 1992, so I did a basic '92 with 46000 miles and get $1200-$2000. With the rust, assume the low end at best.

    https://www.kbb.com/toyota/corolla/1992/sedan-4d/?condition=good&intent=trade-in-sell&mileage=46000&modalview=false&options=6263632|true&pricetype=private-party&vehicleid=12779

So, an '82 is probably worth around... $7

Although there's this '79. Looks like a real collector's item... I should totally get it since this is the year I was born.

It's worthless unless it's a coupe/hatch and already fixed up and engine swapped.

jfc. Some people need to chill.

A running car ought to be worth 800-1000, more if its got some sort of intrinsic classical interest, which I have no idea about on that model.
