Nice looking truck but... If that thing has lived its life in ND, that particular generation of Toyota truck was super-prone to rust. I would look VERY CAREFULLY at the frame and body, which from the pics appears to already have some serious cancer along the bed.It could have some serious rot issues. Might talk him down on the price too. $1,900 seems a bit flexible. Maybe $1,500.

Definitely. Secondly, DO NOT BUY IT until you see it during the day. The more I look at the pics, the more it definitely looks like it has some corrosion issues. Looks like it has spent some if not all of its life in the snow belt, which is bad news for something that old.

We dont have rotten vehicles in ND. They use less that 5% salt mixture when sanding the roads. Now MN is another story..! I'll make sure to check though, im not too worried about it though.

Edit: Im going with my oldman.

I'm just saying be cautious because there are quite a few of these older trucks out here in Cali where there is no snow and not much rain to speak of either, and even here I see an awful lot of this era truck with serious rust problems. Anyhow, good luck.
