My family just got this 1985 pickup from my great grandpa who passed a few years ago, its a 4wd EFI 22re automatic...currently runs but has a lot of problems, only 160k on the speedo but theres a few oil leaks and needs a new exhaust..hope to make this old girl beautiful again :)

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I never knew they came with automatics back then. Sweet truck! 1985 was the best year for Toyota pickup and 4Runner's, first year of EFI, and the last year of a true, factory installed solid front axle. They are very desirable, hold onto that little gem man! I'd love the 22RE EFI and 5 speed manual setup in my '79 Pickup. Mine has the 22R carbureted version and the 4 speed manual leaves a lot to be desired sometimes, but the rest of the truck is excellent.

And knowing your grandfather owned it means it's cherry, probably never been driven hard, always maintained and taken care of. That's a trait that's real tough to come by in any old 4x4 truck. Oil leaks and exhaust problems just come with age, but are easy to fix.
