    Hey guys,

I recently purchased an 87 Toyota Sunrader factory 4x4 and 22R-TE. The current suspension is not where it needs to be. It currently has Billsteins front and back. The IFS is limiting the aftermarket options to improve my suspension. I found total chaos long travel kit, which is tempting, however I want to maintain the original look of the vehicle and therefore do not want to do fiberglass fenders. Does anyone out there now of any mid travel options? I have a 3rd gen Tacoma where I did all the suspension work myself and threw on some Solo UCA and Kings. I would like to do something similar to the 87. Does anyone have experience with just doing a weld on shook hoop to increase travel and be able to use a longer shock for the front!? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Here are a few pictures for reference.

Nice find! It looks darn near new.
