1988 gmc 7.4l crew cab dually

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    The engine was replaced by a shade tree mechanic, not me. It's throwing a lean too long code.
    I'm thinking two things: one, it needs a heated o2 sensor because it's after the headers, taking too long to heat up. Two, it's been modified (cam/stroke) and the stock computer can't enrich the mix far enough.
    I can't get anything more than info from the block, which won't tell me much.
    Any info/confirmations would be appreciated.
