    Toyota's aren't legendary for their reliability for no reason. We may be stacking a couple years worth of maintenance into one day but these trucks can drive around in third world level neglect for years.

    Rust and rot is what kills these trucks, and we live in a state that slows that to an absolute crawl.

    While the motor probably could use new valve seats or some other internal work, it hardly matters as long as the critical items are taken care of. Might not pull as hard as the day it rolled off the line, but it'll go bang every time you turn the key.
