    Been a long time since I logged in. Thought I would give anyone that worked on the little white truck an update. Charty is now back on her feet and recently purchased a newer vehicle!! She is doing much better and a big part of that is thanks to everyone that pitched in to help get the truck drivable.

    The truck was parked back at her brothers house for a bit and they did nothing to it while they had it to improve it at all. They decided they didn't want to have emissions done so they could license it so they were going to sell it. I had told Charity I wanted to be first in line and guess who owns a 1990 Toyota Pickup now!!!

    I have already spent about 2 grand on new parts and put some work into it. I fixed the blower motor, replaced the door locks, ignition cylinder, dome light, AC system, alternator, the seals on the back of the heads, valve cover gaskets (again) fuel injectors, injector plugs, cleaned up the upper plenum big time, re-taped the main harness, new engine and frame grounds, new starter cable, battery terminals, headlights, grill, fixed the bumper, corners, blinkers, taillights, power steering return lines, cleaned up all the PS fluid mess, and Riley is helping me replace all the steering components.

    I also got a new OEM oil cap, deleted the EGR, deleted the coolant and vacuum hardlines from the plenum, and the heater core hoses as well as the bypass due to removing the hardline from the plenum. Simplified it so much.

    @Man of Steel TRD and I have found out that stubborn uniballs are a PITA. Two of them on the steering rack are basically fused in place.

    On top of that, the uca's bushings on the driver's side were gone. It's been fun working on Richardo again, though.

    Got the dash all taken apart for the 4Runner cluster and digital clock as well as some 4runner speaker boxes for the little 4 inch speakers under the dash. Should sound a little better than free air. Now I just have to tap one wire under the hood and run a lead into the cab for the tac and replace the oil dummy light sensor with an SR5 oil sending unit for the oil guage. Super easy mod.

    You just opened up a whole new can-o-worms with that one.....buckle up....it's a great story.

    I was having an issue with liquid fuel just dumping into my plenum. Thought it was a vacuum leak, could not find one for the life of me, turned to fuel. Only thing I thought it could be was fuel pump, regulator, or dapenner. Replaced all three with the help from Josh (0utkast) rest his TW soul. Didn't work, still had the issue. Replaced everything ignition. CAS, MAF, TPS, even the coil packs, and relocated the igniter. Still, the same issue.

    Moved to thinking I had a clogged or kinked return fuel line. Decided to go ahead a take it apart to the block, have the heads cleaned and replace the valve seals, head gaskets and finish with the remaining cleaning.

    During the work I found the elusive boost leak that caused it all!! :( There was one oversized tube out of 4 coming off my aftermarket side intercoolers that was causing it. It needed a 2.5 inch clamp instead of a 2 inch.

    Long story short, the heads are ready and I really just need to clean up the matting surfaces and get it back together then I'm done but I got the little truck and just had shoulder surgery so it is still in pieces.
