    @Speedytech7 I actually have an update for you. Ran the truck a couple of times with the help of @Snaeper and the valve covers were leaking pretty bad on the back of both heads. I never was able to get that broken bolt out of the back of the drivers side so that wasn't helping. @Nitori I finally got it drilled and tapped out. Such a bitch to get to way back there. Also chiseled out the PCV valve grommet, it was a rock and not rubber.

    Haven't put any miles on it. Need to get it to the point it doesn't puke oil every time I start it. Going to drop the trans and replace the rear main and oil pan gasket along with the front and rear seals on the transmission, carrier bearing and trans mount.

    So much room for activities and more cleaning. Man getting to the top bolt for the transmission is harder than working on my Z. That stupid ass crossover pipe will not come out unless you tip the motor or pull the trans. Anyone know of a good but cheap exhaust system for this thing so I can eliminate the crossover pipe?

    Been working on it a little. Driveline out, carrier bearing changed, and I'm getting closer to dropping the transmission so I can replace the rear main seal. Still finding grime on every part I take out despite all the cleaning I have done.

    This looks so familiar to the mod day. I didn't hit my head on the hoist once tho. :rofl:
    Got the rear main replaced, oil pan gasket, transmission mount. Didn't do any of the other seals on the transmission because I could not get it all the way out from under the truck.

    Well I figured out there are two oil pan gaskets on this thing. One between the pan and the baffle and one between the baffle and the block. Got it all sealed up and started putting things back on. Took this video of the guts before I closed it up. Pretty clean in there at least from what I could see.

    Well that exhaust was a piece of shit and didn't fit. Started getting all the factory exhaust put back in. Also cut a piece of Second Skin heat barrier into the shape of the factory piece since I will still be using the crossover pipe in the back. No more 30 year old asbestos falling apart under there any longer. When I first started working on this thing after the mod day I couldn't even see silver under all the grime.
