For shits n gigs, you could sneak in a personal message to your friend in one of those. Maybe change a date or serial number to his birthday or something?

I like secretly changing labels for things around the house. My partner has a Nalgene bottle that I lovingly changed the label to say “Nalgona” (means big booty girl in Spanish). I got a strongly worded text a couple days later when she finally found it.

Big things are happening this weekend.

The control panel obviously has a lot of holes in it from its previous lives. They just drilled new holes for new buttons every time a new game was installed in the cabinet. The last owner used a cheap plastic overlay, which I didn’t like.

So I bought a 16 GA piece of sheet metal cut to size by my local metal shop. This will be riveted in place.

I also purchased new plexiglass for the marquee, and also to replace the broken bezel.

Before this picture was taken, the finish consisted of:

    - 2 Layers Filler Prime
    - 400 Grit Wetsand
    - 2 Layers Satin Black

In order to get rid of the imperfections (dirt, paint sagging, runs) in the paint, I 400 grit wet sanded the base coat.

After the wet sand, I applied three more coats of Black Satin basecoat and here is the result:

    Nearly perfect finish:

I have my moments. That's not even the best one: She drinks a tea that is supposed to help with menstrual cramps called "Healthy Cycle". Somehow the label on that got changed to "Healthy Psycho".

I want the original one, but the newer one from midways graphics. That’s the one I remember playing before elementary school growing up with quarters I got from stealing the bottles out back of the store and return them to the same store. This was the early 90’s for me.
