Looking to buy this truck with 195K on it. The truck appears to be in great shape and runs well. I was wondering what the known issues are? Does the 3.0 have a good history? Any info would help.

There was a recall on the 3.0 head gasket. So maybe find out if that has been done.

    Great trucks otherwise

I had a 3.0 truck. A pre-Tacoma 1995 last year. Still on the road today (sold it to a friend) I put 250k on it no issues except it liked idler arms I remember that. Also the head gasket recall as mentioned. Mine was fine though.
Seriously I don't think you can kill it if taken care of. I did regular maintenance, no problem except I wore out the ignition cylinder. I loved that truck built in Japan.
