Going to mount them above the bumper. That's what I wanted to do from the start but couldn't find a drill strong enough to go through the metal bumper.

That's an advantage of having a plastic bumper  but yeah I like the lights better on top of the bumper.

The bottom half of mine is plastic, but where I want to mount them is metal. I wish it was all plastic though, my metal is rusting :(

Today I picked up a Cobra ESD 767 radar detector and a 10" Dual subwoofer with a 300w amp; it's an all in one enclosure, so it doesn't take up much space. Not much, but it kicks pretty hard inside the cab, but is still quiet outside when people are around. I'll try and put pics up tomorrow!

Haha yeah I was born in Omaha! Actually Bellevue, just a little south. Moved up to upper Michigan about two weeks before I turned 7.

I'll put some pics of the sub up in a few minutes! The sub I got, if you can find the same one, takes up SUCH little space, you could easily work around it if you ever needed your whole cab.

The sub I got is a powered sub, meaning it's amp is built into the box with the sub. Not really what I wanted, but for the little amount of space it takes up, I figured I'd try it and if I didn't like it I can always return it. I paid $99.97 plus tax (also had to buy an amp wiring kit ~ $25), so I figured it was a good buy.

I got home and installed it and it was incredibly easy, I mean I've installed amps/subs before but this was crazy easy.

The sound is incredible from such a tiny box, I mean it's not gonna rattle my mirror off or shake the car next to me, but it's more then enough for my little truck. Overall I'm super happy with it. If anyone is looking for the same thing, it's called the "Dual ALB10".

    So onto some pictures! :D

This is the radar detector I bought, it's a Cobra ESD 767
(Gotta go on a quick rant before the pic)
I didn't buy a radar detector to speed, I know a lot of people say that but it's true. I didn't. I bought it because SOME cops in my area, being such a small town, dislike teenagers because of God only knows what. I like to know when a cop is getting my speed, and when there's one around so I can be more alert and make sure I don't do anything minorly illegal (like not come to a complete stop, not use a blinker on accident, etc.). Okay, rant over.

This is how I wired it. I wanted to run the wire by the vent right by the windshield for a clean install, but I figured it might melt the wire a bit. This doesn't look TOO bad, and I'll be ordering the Cobra hard wire kit from amazon in a bit which will take care of the wire.

And finally the sub. (Sorry for the mess). It's a Dual ALB10, and for my little cab, it does pretty good. I'm not looking to shake the car next to me, just looking to boost the lows a bit

I was born in Lincoln and ill be moving back to omaha in 6ish months. That sub is a pretty nice size for what I would wanna give up. When you get the new truck what are you gonna do with this one?

Well, when I can afford a new truck, if this one is still in okay shape, it will be turned into a dedicated trail truck. If not, it will go somewhere on my parents land for a parts truck :D

    Trucks > School

Actually, lately I've been thinking of saving up to buy a diesel (hear me out), because for the longest time I wanted to drive semi's OTR, however, I've also considered maybe getting into the repossession business.

Then I wouldn't have to pay for school, just a really nice truck

94-97 dodge cummins is what you want. If your goung to repo get the 3500 dulley. Auto trans are problems in dodges, so get a manual if you can find one.
    Diesels are great, big money.

No I'm a big fan of diesel trucks they last forever. My dads buddy got saved by a dually f-350 tow truck 4x4 he got it stuck worse than I have ever seen. (Eight hour recovery time before the tow) You could always be a offroad recovery as well as repo!

The Cummins is an amazing engine, but I'm more of a PowerStroke fan myself ;P

I'd get a 7.3 turbo f350 dually single cab with a dynamic 601 if I were to do repos.

Idk if I'd want to do off road recovery! Haha, I'd probably stick to on road stuff. Just a little worried about starting my own towing company. I'll probably go OTR for 20 years or so, retire from that, then do repos or something. Haha
