So my Toyota mechanic told me about a possible NEW frame recall on my 1994 4x4 (pickup) ONLY if you are the original owner.... anyone else hear about this?? It got recalled back in the late 90s but apparently my truck didn't qualify within the month period (typical Toyota BS) but now there is a new, secret one?

Have your mechanic provide written documentation of said 'possible' recall.

Then please post for all other original owners to see.

We'll wait. But not holding my breath.

I was being fasciitis..... bc Toyota is shit with their manufacturing errors. Hence, my asking y'all about it. Can't be too much bullshit bc I know a guy who just had TWO of his bought back by Toyota at $7k each. He said the dealership offered and he didn't ask questions.

Dealerships don't do buybacks. Toyota does. And buybacks due to frame issues ended long ago, when they started frame replacement procedures.

A dealer would have no interest in buying anything unless
    a) it's a driveable/resellable item or
    b) an employee wanted to buy them for parts/personal use. Yes, that does happen.
