1994 Toyota Pickup Hilux -Speedometer drops when directional signal light is enganged

    Does anyone know what might cause the speedometer to drop from current speed to 0 and jump back up to current speed when directional signal light is engage either way left hand turn or right hand turn. I can be driving going 30 mph and when i engage my directional signal light the speedometer drops down to 0 and immediately goes back to 30 mph.
