    Hey there everyone,
So I've been searching and searching and I cannot find a legitimate HID/projector kit for the 1995-1997 tacomas. From what I have read it seems everyone has had to retrofit their lights but my question is what is the best lights to get and how hard is it to install ?

Why not just buy them from another member? I know there's a couple guys on here that specialize in it.

:/ I'm not sure. I'm trying to search for them but the search engine on the website is pretty wack.

Once I find him, I'll refer you to him. Who knows he may pop up in here.

I did not know this. My old 2000 Tacoma had projectors but it was a kit and was basically plug and play. And I never had any issues with cops or anything like that.

    BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
You can buy replacement headlight housing that you can retrofit HID kits into them without much issue, but quality is in the toilet in my opinion. Ebay has some that will bolt right in, I always hate taking out the whole front grill just to replace a headlight in my truck.

Don't trust any of it, most of them have the focus of a disco ball.

Had your Buddy already retrofitted some projectors into his stock halogen reflector headlight housings?

There is no specific model year retrofit kits because they are universal. the only difficult thing is finding projectors and shrouds that will fit within your headlight housing.
The retrofit source has the best quality HID parts, but you will have to build the headlights yourself, or buy the parts and pay someone to do it. I believe @LSC15 builds them for your model year
