    Good afternoon or morning Everyone.
    I HAVE A 1995 toyota tacoma 2.4L 4 cylinder 5 speed.
I took the bed off, replaced the fuel pump with OEM Denso fuel pump, the 5 pin electrical connector has been smashed by previous owner. I have a new 5 pin pigtail. However the original only has 4 wires and the new one has 5. I matches up the original 4 and connected them. Does anyone know what the 5th wire is? It is brown is color. Ground perhaps. I have no power to fuel pump when cranking it over. New relay under hood and good gas.
    Thank you.

Pin 1 (Yellow/Blue) Is the low fuel warning light signal
Pin 2 (Yellow/Red) Is the fuel level sensor signal
Pin 3 (Brown) Is sensor ground
Pin 4 (Blue) Is fuel pump power
Pin 5 (White/Black) is fuel pump ground

Hey guys thank you for your responses. I don't have pics as I have already installed the pigtail but obviously it is working. 5 pin connector with 5 wites but oem only had 4 ControlCar. I pologoze for no pics.

DM93 THANK YOU sir. With hat information I'm sure that the "extra brown wire" is the sensor ground. The wire it self is is connected to pin 3 but the oem was sodered closed. I'm assuming since there's no wire to splice it together with I can just ground it frame? Thank you gentleman for your time and information.

Do you have your other wires correct? When I meant by sensor ground is it's the ground for the fuel level sensor, theoretically you can attach it to any ground.
Not sure why the truck harness wouldn't have 5 wires as it shows on the wiring diagrams.
