This is a general post for anyone who is interested in a set of these. Same basic design that I have ran on my truck for 13 years with zero issues. I occasionally have a ready to go set for sale but they do go fast, but if anyone wants a set I can turn around in about 2 weeks. If there is one thing you DO NOT want to fail on an offroad truck it is the engine mounts. Save yourself hundreds or thousands of dollars from possible damages from heavy offroading with the weak stock mounts or using a "Band-Aid" fix that only replaces part of the factory mount. I have seen bolts broken off in the block, frame damage, oil pan damage, hood damage, transmission case damage and exhaust damage from a motor bouncing around once the mounts break. Trust me it's not fun or cheap to fix.

The extra side benefit is once your engine isn't twisting or flopping around anymore when you hit the gas, that energy is transferred much more efficiently down the drivetrain to the wheels. There is, in my opinion, a noticeable acceleration increase due to less power loss through the drivetrain. Engine vibration increase is minimal, most customers hardly notice anything.

Price is $375 for a set (plus shipping) DM me if interested.

Awesome. My truck is saying yes but my bank is saying no. Gonna add you to my wish list though.

Can't wait to get these, price sounds reasonable for something that will last a lifetime.

What is involved with installing these. Does the block have to be raised during install?

The engine will need to be raised and lowered slightly to remove the old mounts and install the new ones. Floor jack with block of wood works. Engine hoist works great too. These will fit all all 3.4L tacomas and I have yet to see them not fit a 4runner. I have tested them on model years up to 2004 with 3.4L engine.

Building a set of 2nd gen 4.0L mounts right now, after that will have time to knock out a set of 3.4 mounts if anyone is interested!

Question: Do these raise the engine higher than stock?

It theoretically raises the engine "slightly" and I say this because the frame perch flange I use is 1/4" thick for added strength whereas the stock frame perch flange is closer to 1/8" thick. However since the frame perch flange mounts on an angle close to 45 degrees, it doesn't actually raise the engine up 1/8"...probably more like 1/16th". If hood clearance is your concern I can assure you many people and myself included are running my engine mounts with superchargers installed with no hood clearance issue. The only other possible engine height gain is the theoretical amount that is not lost when the weak stock rubber bushing compresses under the weight of the engine. You don't have that factor with my engine mounts.

I have a port fuel plate between my upper and lower intake so it sits about 1.5" higher. Its pretty close to the hood right now but if is only a 1/16th of an inch, I'm not too worried.

Yeah I seriously doubt you will run into an issue. like I said it cant be much more than 1/16" inch if anything.
