1995 3rz egr and vacuum line confusion

Hey everyone, seeking out some help with my 1995 3rz vacuum lines, currently will not start because of where the lines are… cannot find an accurate diagram to answer all of my questions.

I’ve posted on here before and people said they’ve never seen this vacuum configuration… I haven’t found any luck with diagrams or even engine bay pics…

 

I'm having the same trying to find a good pic.....

It looks like your IAC is completely different.....most all ours are mounted to the bottom of the throttle body....
It looks like yours sends air into the intake plenum where we have a temp sensor for the egr valve.....
crazy.....

we have two holes there..... one for temp sensor....and one nipple for the pcv line feed....


And you fuel reg is supposed to be power souly from vac tap on the intake tube....

 

There's the temp sensor for egr ....red arrow....




The pcv hose has been pulled off there....the nipple above it...


That damn temp sensor is like $150.....

 

Yeah I have that, luckily I didn’t cut it off when I did the egr delete the other day… installed a new egr valve today and hooked it all back up after it didn’t run when I did the delete.

 

It ran before the delete but as well as doing the delete I also did injectors because previous owner put 750cc injectors in it… I bought a set from motorwest that are supposed to be reman pink tops, read somewhere on there that they were good replacements.

 

Yeah the 2rz's use the brown injectors....and 3rz's use the pinks.....
and the new denso redesigned ones are now blue.....

see this is my feed for the iac coming off that intake tube.....even tho mine goes backwards to loop down around all the congestion...

routes to the bottom of the TB....feeds the iac air....

 

They work I’m pretty sure, I can smell fuel and the spark plugs wet.

 

And the diagram sucks....

This very first pic is the only one hooked up correctly....that is a fresh air supply to the canister....

 

Good lesson in this .....do baby steps on anything major like this...

Pinch off the vac going into the egr and drive around with it defeated while watching the fuel trims.....

then proceed to next step....



Doing a round robin and replacing a bunch of parts at once may not be a winning strategy for these old girls...

inexperienced mechanics can be like kryptonite to these......never know what your getting when you buy one of these...

 

I found this engine bay pic of a listing on fb marketplace… 1995 2rz. Everything that I see connected there is connected right on mine…

 

I did clean the tb and intake manifold when I took them off… going to clean the iac and that egr sensor and check for spark.
