Yeah that’s true for sure but you still led me in the right direction! One last question… what does that blocked off line go to? In the process of cleaning the IAC and found this…

On mine that looks like the pre-formed hose that goes to the air cleaner (metal) snorkel. Goes on the first tube closest to the throttle body, right up stream of the shortest air snorkel hose, down under the t.b. and plugs in to that fitting you're pointing at.
hose part #1734375010 it appears to be
Hope this is clear, I don't know how to "draw" on the pics to point out the exact hose.

Yeah I noticed that hole intake was missing on yours....you'd think you'd a hole for $300......

that's were that reverse line is tapped into mine...

On the other side of your intake metal tube.......that hole you got tapped up is normally the vac line that controls the fuel pres reg........
on the 98 and later models.....

Been studing your pics ......where does your fuel return go.....
what does it tap into..... its so bazar......
    are old 4-runners like that....

And has a vac line that goes down to the fuel filter?

Not sure where the return line goes I can look when I get home, I have 2 holes tapped in the front and one in the back now… front 2 are for the canister return and to that sensor/valve that no one else has, the one on the backside I widened with a bit and stuck a brass fitting in there to hook the iac into, runs real good now.

Yeah for some mods I've thrown out the manual and super fortified some areas....

You can see from my blue hose salad......every single item in there has been considered and refined...
