I can see the temptation to burnt out and have attempted such acts of bafoonery when I first got mine (young, excited, and riding on dilapidated tires) but it's a truck, not a racecar. the entire design from power to weight distribution was centered around a completely different application than speed. so drive it like a truck.

however off road you can yolk it like stole it.

I don't do burn outs in my truck since it is my only valid hicle and I am not a teenager anymore.

yeah guess I jumped the gun there.

OP, you bought an 03 Civic, why are you driving your truck like Mario Andretti? destroy the civic but leave the taco alone! it needs to be treated with respect.

I have been wanting to use this for a while:

    But I digress....

Your problem is caused by weak leaf springs and the inherent problem of a C-channel frame over the rear axle. The C-channel frame will flex, causing wheel hop, and the worn leafs will compound the problem.

Get some OME dakar leafs or some leafs from wheelers offroad, and you will be good.
